It doesn't matter what I have in the bank account, life still throws me curveballs. Thank God I have a great mechanic I can rely on.

I feel you. Just bought an old new car. Haha. And it’s good but randomly got a blowout. I am grateful I was able to have it fixed straight away. There is always positive in the negative. We just have to see the whole picture. You have a great mechanic and who knows what else could be found that can save money now maybe. Good luck!
