Monday is Monday

Greatful for starting a new week. Lots of stuff going on. Busy. I'm home from my sanctuary on the lake. Back in the city and gone are birds, frogs, ducks, hawks, eagles, only to be replaced by construction banging at 7:06 am and the garbage man. Monday is feeling more and more like a Monday. Has my nerves frayed. I have to count my blessings and focus on that. I'm back to getting to know AA again after an 8 year departure. In 7 years I have remained relapse free through intensive therapy but I began to feel like I was standing still. So with the help and encouragement of a new friend I decided to dust off my old book. Opening the pages I had forgotten and what should fall out but my 4 leaf clover :four_leaf_clover:. Blessings. I'll take that. Thank you friend.

You're welcome. Just remember recovery is a WE thing. I'm just sharing the message.

7 years relapse free and you’re still willing to try something different when you feel yourself standing still. I love that. And finding that 4 leaf clover in your old book? I’d take that blessing too. :four_leaf_clover: How did it feel coming back to AA after 8 years away?
