Mother's Day Gratitude

Today I'm grateful that I was thought of on Mother's Day by one of my sons. (Edit: a second son just checked in with me 🩵)

Today I'm grateful to be completely clean and that I'm more self-aware than ever before.

Today I'm grateful to have recovering friends.

Today I'm grateful to be able to discern my feelings about different things and know that I may not feel the same way about the same thing tomorrow. All of that is okay.

Today I'm grateful for positive self-talk. I don't have to tolerate myself or anyone else speaking to me disrespectfully.

Today I'm grateful that life is a journey, not a destination.

Thank you, Kelly.
Well.
I am preparing to get a blood transfusion today ( severe anemia )-and an iron infusion, later this week.

My mom is still alive and we are close…so.
I am fortunate.
I super appreciate the image, reminders which you shared.

Writing those down words down in my notebook.
I am wishing you a peaceful week,
Kelly!

My thoughts are with you, Sarim. ❤️‍🩹

I'm so glad you get to spend time with your mom :heartpulse:

I am always saving things that I find inspiring. I assume that if it helps me, it may help others. Helping others is my purpose. I've got to be careful to balance helping others with self-care. I wasn't as aware in years past. Today I know that caring for Kelly must come first. I can't help anyone else if I'm drowning.

Thank you for letting me know that I'm on the right path

Peace and light to you!
