What's the worst thing about drinking that motivates you to stay sober? Mine is that drinkers are annoying. When I hang out w people who are drinking they don't listen, they constantly interrupt, and don't shut up.
You’re not lying! On the flip side, it’s really cool to be able to meet other sober people at events where others are drinking. I’ve had some of my best conversations at parties where I’m hanging out with the one or two other sober people
For me, one of the worst things about drinking was just being physically wrecked all the time. It’s crazy to be sober now and see how much energy and vitality I have in me- I joke that sobriety made me age backwards!
One of the worst things about drinking is not being present. I don’t want to miss a moment of life especially with my kids growing up as quick as they are. It’s absolutely beautiful I get to be in the moment with them🩵
So true. Biological age does reverse when u quit. Don't miss being tired!
Yes. Being present. For sure one of the gifts of sobriety.
