Music = Therapy

Music has been HUGE for my recovery. It helps me slow down, feel what I need to feel, and stay grounded.

Music can lift us up in ways substances never could :headphones: :blush:

Music is my life. But soooo many songs trigger me because I would drive around for hours jamming to them and it's hard to give them up so trying to get over that without having to stop playing my favorites

I listen to my trigger music at the gym but listen to Christian music now

Like the group Earth, wind, and fire says when you feel down and out sing a song it’ll make your day

I haven't been able to listen to music since I cleaned up in 2024 I listen to it one day I don't know walk on my phone and came home and wanted to drink so I called my sponsor and just went to sleep I've been afraid to listen to it since then my recovery is so important to me hopefully I'll be able to listen to it soon again cuz I love music but it triggers me does it trigger a lot of you
