My 74 yr old mother has my 8 yr old daughter while I went to rehab and now iop and sober living in a city pretty far away. My mom is pressuring me to come back and I cant explain why I need to be away for a bit in new recovery

I’ve been in that exact same situation. Unfortunately, I gave in and left rehab too early. Which led to my second try. Stay strong. If you feel it’s too early, don’t jump back in just yet.

Well hello fellow Wisconsinite! As Sarah said don’t jump back into life too soon if you are not ready. It takes time. But use the time wisely and focus on healthy living. It will go faster than you think! Good luck.

Yes if you need it stay away you know what u need right now. Your sobriety and your new life you are setting up for yourself needs time.
