My anxiety is at an all time high. I was

Definitely talk to your doctor! I suffer from some pretty crippling anxiety. I was very honest with my doc and told her that I do not want to turn back to alcohol to make this awful anxiety go away, but sometimes I seriously feel like I’m going to die when one hits me and it is the scariest feeling! Now I’m on a medication for it, an my 3 year sobriety anniversary is this Friday :relieved: Hang in there, we are all here for you

Yes that exactly how I feel. It cripples me to the point I can’t eat and I end up in the hospital

No I have not. It’s hard to find a therapist

Girl, same same. Last time I had to lay on my kitchen floor while my husband covered me with a weighted blanket and rubbed my back. My Apple Watch told me I was in afib.. which made it worse lol, but I completely understand how you feel.

I tell everyone this bc it helped me: get a win.
Each day you're feeling stressed or like you can't do it, get a "win" out of your day. Make your baby laugh, clean up that annoying corner of your house you seem to chuck everything in. Run a mile, cook something you've been dying to try. Whatever it is, you can look back at that thing later in the day and say "I won today. I'll win more tomorrow, too!"

Totally get this! Anxiety can be crippling!! Especially after one becomes sober! Medication may help or yoga

If you have insurance, you may be able to contact them and ask if they can refer you to a therapist and a psychiatrist. Psychiatrists can prescribe meds, but they don't usually do a lot of talk. The therapist can do all the talking you need.

I find it's a lot harder to not drink without meds because I was self-medicating with alcohol for so long.

Thank you I’ll do that.
