My boyfriend is deeply struggling with depression and drinking I don’t know how to help him he has an appointment to see a doctor next week for his depression I just keep praying idk what else to do… I’ve been in recovery from heroin for over 4 years and I just feel helpless when it comes to helping the man I love..
Think back to when you first got clean. What helped you the most. It’s good he is going to see someone, at least he is taking that step.

Regardless of anything, he needs to stop drinking. No amount of therapy will help without quitting. Get him to meetings and go and support him.
