My breakfast routine is CRUCIAL. Anyone else have a particular routine that is key for setting your day up for success?

Routine is super important. For me it’s check weight, take meds, coffee, Daily Reflections, 24 Hour book, check BP, record meetings/workouts/health, pray. Every morning same thing. If I notice any break in my routine, it gives me an indication that there is something off that needs to be addressed. I looked back on my last relapse in my planner. About a week before, I stopped recording things and checking things off.

I don’t have a morning routine since it’s always changing but I have what I call my recipe for a successful day. As long as the ingredients are there it’s good, the amounts may change but the end is always good. Ingredients are simple, a meditation, a physical activity, feeling productive and a creative outlet. My bare bones recipe.

Thank you! I used to hate breakfast because I was always feeling sick or nauseous. Now it’s my favorite time of day.:slightly_smiling_face:

I used to hate breakfast as well and when I used to work with my dad he would always bring a banana for both of us (I would never eat it). Now I really enjoy a nice thing of OJ, cooked eggs and sausage :relaxed:

So true! I need a protein heavy breakfast if I'm going to be of any use that day. I also try to remember to read my daily meditation book every morning. These things are super important to me!

I need to walk or workout. Preferably with my workout buddy or in a pinch take pups. I feel like garbage without it.

Love routines too. I start my days with a few minutes on loosid, some breathing exercises and stretching, an almond milk latte, and a walk. Then I’ll have a green smoothie with soaked seeds, almond butter and Greek yoghurt for breakfast at lunchtime. I’m now totally hopped up on that smoothie, it fills me up for hours

I’m going to have to include that more in my routine but I have never really done it seriously before. I will try and make note of that. Good insight

Even when I’m having my hardest days, I still try my absolute best to adhere to my routine, even if it’s not perfect. Like this morning, I still got up and made breakfast, even though I didn’t really have an appetite. Ate about half of it, not perfect, but still something.

Starting my day with the gym before work. Packing my gym bag and lunch the night before. Vitamins and small breakfast before I leave the house.
