Thinking of leaving my fiancé, after 7 years, because he’s 41 and hasn’t done anything. He lives in the same awful apartment, has no retirement savings, makes barely any money, and procrastinates going to literally any health appointments. I have two kids from a prior marriage. I need to be alone or with someone who cares about their life more. Love actually isn’t enough.

Put sobriety first. Work a strong program and in time (and with effort) your problems will meet solutions.
