I am extremely grateful for my dad. I spent the last Father's Day i will ever spend with my dad by his side holding his hand. My dad was placed on Hospice about a week ago, and now they tell us it might only be 24-48 hours as far as time he has left.
So here goes!
Dad thank you first and foremost for working all those night shifts and weekends that you did so my sister and i could have the amazing life that we did. Dad i don't know to many kids who's parents sacrificed what you and mom did just so my sister and i could have the all we had.
Thank Dad for being there when i got my first accident/ speeding ticket and never told Mom. Thank you for picking me up when i couldn't pick myself up after yet another relapse.
But most of all dad i want you to know how grateful i am for being the best dad anyone could ever dream of having.
Just remember most of all Dad thank you so much for being my friend.
I love you, and I will always miss you. God bless you Dad, and again thanks for being the best dad anyone could ever dream of having.
