I may be alone right now but I’m grateful I’m alive and sober through it, I’m grateful for my kids, my sponsor, my brother and his roommate who’s like a brother, my sponsee brothers, my higher power, my kids mom even though we are separated now, and the peace I feel with having some time to myself. I pray that god continues to lead me down the right path even if it means I gotta take time to be alone. I’m alone and sometimes lonely but I’m alive to enjoy today.
