Why would you be undeserving?
As a Christian, we are all born sinners. I serve a God who sent His son to give His life for me - despite my constant sins. It’s not self pity, it’s awe in His grace.

He made us in his image, your book says it. If we are made in his image than how can we be flawed to the point of not deserving his "grace" which he picks and chooses to dispense?
You really need to focus your points elsewhere, darlin! I’m not gonna spend any more time on this

It’s okay to disagree. Or not even believe in a book, Bible, or god. But if it’s helped her become sober and stay sober then that’s a win. Nothing wrong with not believing in him and I 100% respect that. But don’t knock someone simply because it’s their right to believe.
Hey sorry for the negative responses to your post. Don’t listen to the negative feedback. Some people use that in a way of jealously. Jealous because maybe they aren’t doing as good as you are! Keep it up my fellow South Carolinian! I added ya

I wasn't knocking anything. Please pay attention. I questioned her opinion of herself, I asked why she felt she was "undeserving".
My problem with all of this is that self deprecation is toxic. Humility is one thing, but thinking that you are basically worthless and putting yourself down in roundabout ways sets you up to feel/act/be that way. If someone tells you every day that you are a piece of sh7t, eventually your subconscious takes over and you will give up and just be one. So that deprecation works against your recovery.

Kristi, you are exactly right. We are all sinners and that separates us from God. Seek the Lord in all things because He loves you and He’s our only hope to find freedom from addiction and to have joy, peace and love. Proud of you Kristi.
