My girlfriend had almost 60 days until her birthday yesterday where she said she “deserved” a drink. I just smiled and continued with our dinner but inside I was hoping she would reconsider. She did not. Now I guess it’s time to wait and see what happens. I’m really only interested in dating a sober woman at this point. Fingers crossed that this was a one time thing or occasional.
She’s not ready. I think you see that.
