My grandmother and I were close. Every Christmas she had a white tree decorated with wooden cardinals my grandfather made for her. I loved it. I recently came across the box of her cardinal ornaments and decided to get a small white tree of my own. She’s always in my heart.

I loved my Dad's parents more than my own parents!! They were a source of unconditional love and wisdom. Whenever I see a chickadee, I think of Grandpa and ask for his wisdom and guidance. Cheers to all the loving grandparents out there!!!
