My journey started April 8th. 2025. I was admitted to detox ( critical care unit). Spent 4 days there then went to the psych ward for 9 days. They thought I was trying to kill myself because my bac. was .406 and my blood pressure was 201. I told them that is just a normal day of drinking for me. Did that for 17 years. I weighed 300lbs. and looked like total $hit. I was lucky if I showered once every 2 weeks. Didn’t shave, self care wasn’t in my vocabulary. From there I went to inpatient in Maryland(my home state). Then I went to NH for php and iop. I graduate the program on November 17th. Ill have a total of 222 days sober when I graduate. Im down to 250lbs. now. I feel amazing. Im staying in New Hampshire(sober living) and not going back to Baltimore. I have alot of family and friendships to repair. That will take some time. Im glad there are programs like the one I’m in. If i can do it anybody can. Get a sponsor, go to meetings, do step work and participate . Recovery is not a bad word. One day at a time.

Wow, you look absolutely gorgeous, and I really like your profile. You seem like someone I’d really enjoy connecting with, so I’d love it if you could follow me back. That way, we can get in touch and get to know each other better..

Awesome work man keep it up! I walked into my last of 22 total detox's at a .398 BAC several hours after I stopped drinking along with Heroin and Valium in my blood. Had armed guards posted outside my door for days and 24hr monitoring
