My life has changed drastically in the past 4 and 1/2 months. I have a little person of my own to take care of and I am loving every minute with her. The part that I find difficult, is figuring out what I am supposed to do next. Not with the parenting part, but as far as my career. I have been on drugs since I was 15 years old. I have always worked and I am very smart, so it seems I can do just about anything. However, being addicted to drugs held me back. I never actually committed to finishing my education, and now I’m not even sure what I want to do. I do know that I am a single parent facing this completely alone, so I just want to figure out what I want to do, and then do it. I have no doubt that I can do whatever I set my mind to, but I just need to figure out what that is. How do you know what you want to do in life?

What are you passionate about? If you can find a way to turn a passion into a career you will find success.

If I were you, I’d spend every ounce of energy staying sober and taking care of the child. If you can do those two things, the rest will fall into place.. just a thought
