My longest streak of being sober was 3 months... I got over confident and went on a date. On the date I had 5 drinks a resturant then made the date go bar hopping with me for a total 10. Then when the date was over I made the uber driver take me to a store and bought 3 bottles of hard liquor.. Didn't stop drinking for weeks and spent thousands on bars and liquor

I can relate. Addiction is brutal, truly. Good to keep images like this one in the forefront. My last binge/relapse was particularly ugly… totaled my beloved Mini Cooper. It could’ve been much more dire.
