My nervous system was in survival mode for years, long after I was physically safe. I didn’t realize I was living in this state until I started doing the work to understand my mind post-trauma. Healing often feels uncomfortable. It’s also beautiful. Be gentle with yourself; you’re not alone.

Amazing. It starts with awareness, and a strong desire to change. It does take work, and the journey is both very challenging and rewarding. May you continue to stay motivated and continue to push towards growth
