My Rock

I recently this past weekend did at home detoxing with medication. I suffer from alcohol induced hallucinations and auditory hallucinations in general. I am grateful for my boyfriend because he was my rock this entire weekend.

On top of detoxing I am also in the middle of an active Lyme disease infection and it has been the worst experience having it, especially the antibiotics. Sobering up made it that much more difficult :frowning:

He took such good care of me and I am so appreciative and thankful for everything he’s done for me. Happy to say I got through the weekend and am now 4 days sober!

Sobering up may have made it more difficult Tiffany however please keep in mind that the level of difficulty is what is necessary for us to learn the lesson and that we can never heal, fully, properly, while remaining active in our addictions!

Good deal. Get to some meetings. That will help.

What you just went through, as hard as it was, is just the beginning. The worse off you were the longer the recovery will take, but it's worth it. I spent 18 years watching my drinking get worse and worse and worse til I finally stopped, recovery doesn't happen overnight. One day at a time ND easy does it are the best advice I've gotten in the program

Congratulations! That's awesome!
