My sober life. One year ago I found this picture from when I was a young veterinarian before my addiction took my career and forced me to relinquish my license. I used it to inspire myself to do what I needed to do to get that license back and go back to the career I love. Today I have a full time job at a large clinic. I meet the challenges of each case with a sober, clear and curious mind. Grateful to be doing what I love, for being able to trust myself and to be growing personally and professionally.

You are an inspiration!
There's a fantastic story in one of the editions of the big book. I believe it's the 4th Edition. The story is entitled "Grounded."
Link below.
It's about 3 Airline pilots who
tested positive for alcohol and were relieved of their flying privileges. One of them ended up in prison for a period of time.
He had to start from the bottom and work his way backup and eventually he retired at an airline. It's a great read and you should check it out.
Happy and proud for you! Congrats!
That is Great!
Thanks! I’ll read that tonight

Thank you so much for sharing your story. It’s truly inspiring to remember we can regain what we might have or did lose as a result of our addiction by continuing to respect, love and invest in ourselves.
