My son is going into the ER once again! They found a large cancerous cyst! The first time and got 95 percent of the cancer on tge first go around on friday night! They are going back in tonight to do another emergency surgery! Because if a flare up! I so badly want ti relapse and gave a drink! Pressure is so overwhelming! Anxiety and depression! Please help

Please don't go to have a drink. I know it's overwhelming but stay there for your son. You are not alone. Say a prayer for the doctors and especially for your son. I will keep you and your son in my prayers

Be with ur son say a prayer for him the doctors and yourself if you are not able to go to an in person meeting there is always meetings online available i will be praying for you and your son

Skip, a drink is not going to alleviate your anxiety! Ya for a hour or a night, but then all helllll to pay.
Checking in with your sober brothers and sisters often is so important. Call, text, go to a meeting and share. Iā€™m here if you want to talk.

I can't imagine what you are feeling or thinking so I shall not give you blanket platitudes of recovery jargon. I can say this after years of horrible stuff in being a healthier person. The more I am present with myself and crawling thru the pisssss and shiitttt that comes with life sometimes. The more present I can be with what else.comes down the road. Safe travels and be well.
