I'm grateful for my son's first day of 8th grade today, back at the school where his friends are and have been since kindergarten. He moved to his mom's for a while when I was a wreck, but this morning we hit the weights in the gym at 5, made lunches, and I took him to school. Later we're going to celebrate by cooking up some stir fry and playing Xbox.
