My sponsor says, “Get a best friend” in your sobriety. A sponsor, and a best friend. With these two factors in your early recovery, the game will be changed. On days when you’re lonely and in your head, you have either person to go to. Im glad I have a true best friend today !

That's important advice. Early stages of sobriety (well, in general) can be hard. It makes a difference if you have a sober support system vs. if you don't. Let's work hard(er) to create those sober friendships.
