My sponsor was talking to me very rudely so I

So I assume he made what's called a judgment call. If you had a Rx and he saw it that is why he gave you the DUI. This will be tough. Your lawyer will know best really. I guess you might have to beg and plead for anything you can do to keep the ability to drive only to get to work and child care and ankle bracelet stay at home and auto breathalyzer. Do your best and don't mess up whatever you do. You'll just have to. Best of luck. Keep praying. Go to church and AA as much as you can and keep a journal and have it signed to prove your efforts. It truly helps prove your commitment!

Yes! I’m glad you stuck up fir yourself in a healthy manor. Setting boundaries is a must.
Also, sponsorship isn’t about being a drill Sargent! This is your journey. Your path. I’m a sponsor, and in no way am I any different then my sponsee. I practice a program of suggestions. And those suggestions are all from the book or from my sponsor and his sponsor. It’s a group effort over here.

Sometimes our sponsors tell us things we don’t want to hear (especially early in recovery). The truth can sound pretty rude to an addict.

They have to tell it like it is.truth herts .we need to change and that’s heard to.some time we need to take the heat.I all ways thought about what that said when walking a way.you don’t like don’t change right a way.

I'm sorry.
