My Story

Alcohol almost brought me to my end.My journey in sobriety guided me to the beginning.
In the beginning of my creation, I have been blessed with the divine gift of life and a portion of my creator essence.Through the years of drinking alcohol, it wasn’t self evident I was becoming sick .I began to fall deep into the rabbits hole, to which I eventually touched the bottom.Today I will live the remaining days of my life knowing and accepting my illness alcoholism,to which there’s no cure. All through the years of abusing alcohol my creator in my mind was drifting, further and further away from me.At this point I think of my creator very seldom. As I was alone in that dark place, space in the bottom, I begin to beg for the comfort from my creator. At this moment the mind trickery games started playing. When you were in your so called happy place, drinking enjoying the fine things in life, you didn’t have time for me the creator. Now you’re in a destitute state all you can do is to call for help.It is human nature to behave in this manner, for the willingness to choose is one of our great attributes. It is not that you should carry on existing,in this way, rather you should want to live to choose and create a better way.As I started out being true to myself, my journey open the doors of truth to me. I had to accept the true reality of what, alcohol has done to my mind, body and spirit. I also have been blessed to receive certain knowledge,in my journey prior to this journey in sobriety. To which I have applied to and in my recovery. I rebuild my frame of mind,in thinking I’ve learned in my previous travels,as a man think so shall he become. In mysticism when you capture someone mind, his body comes at will.So I suggest being your journey with a different mind set.As I continue. onminmjjoujourney one day at a time. differently. I appreciate you for sharing this with us. It takes a lot to put your story into words. Alcohol can take us so far from ourselves, and reading how you found your way into sobriety and a different mindset is powerful. I hope you keep showing up here. Glad you’re here with us.
