Surrender was one of the hardest things for me to understand in recovery because I thought it meant giving up. For me it became the opposite. I had to stop fighting everything I couldn’t control and start being willing to do something different. What are you having the hardest time surrendering right now?

Hey Dannyi once again made a mess of a personal relationship and I am struggling to accept that
Andrew, I’m going to be direct with you to hopefully save you time and unnecessary pain.
I strongly suggest going to meetings daily, getting a sponsor and doing the 12 steps thoroughly and to the best of your ability.
I sponsor remotely if you’re interested in talking about it.
