Sorry- this is random (and this is meant as a compliment and not self-serving) Friends told me to check out dating apps- I poked around. Not really interested. I randomly looked at the dating side here and I noticed that I found the women here much more attractive. I don’t know what it is (intelligence? Purpose?) it is cool to know when I’m ready- there are people out there.

I like how you put what you want at high standards. I think like that too. But in my own eyes, I see this community (not the dating side) as if I was in rehab, psych ward, or group therapy...don't try to pick someone up in those kinds of environments it's not the place.
I noticed dating is the last thing on most people's minds here in the community section. That can be such as being taken, just not looking, or even just knowing this simply isn't the right place (you wouldn't want to try and ask someone fresh into recovery and struggling out on a date would you?)
I noticed it with some in the community section that people will try to use unsolicited flirting towards others who don't want that whether it's on their posts or through message. Just know the difference between here and the dating section so you can be kind and respectful to those who rather seek support than someone to love. 🫶🏻
