N/A wine really helping me right now!
Whatever it takes. Some people frown on fake drinking, but I sometimes like to order mocktails when at a bar, or have a 0 alcohol Heineken. Do what works for you, as long as you stay honest with yourself.
I agree! That is where I’m at right now. Thank you
I’m very proud of myself and not beating myself up about time lost in the past. Everyday I am learning and making an honest effort to stay away from the poison! Whatever it takes right now is what I’m doing
Same
As an alcoholic, I can’t do that anymore. I tried the NA beer thing on my road to sobriety and it helped a little, like I still had my friend even though we weren’t as close…. But by keeping it on my mind, I was never able to be rid of the obsession to drink and sure enough I drank again…. I’m only sharing my experience if it can in any way prevent some of the pain and suffering I went through…. I truly hope you find what works for you

Currently sipping on my sparkling Fre rosé as we speak.
That you for sharing that! I am kind of thinking ppl are 50/50 about it in recovery..wish we could do a poll on the n/a drinks bc it seems to be a very hot topic! Drinking n/a drinks and eventually relapsing bc of it is def a fear of mine but being so fresh on my journey I am doing whatever it takes to not pick up (actual alcohol). Tonight I kind of think it saved me so I’m grateful but in no way am I thinking it’s my cure. Still planning to go to treatment asap & continue on the lifelong journey! Everyday, more and more, I am seeing that sobriety= health&happiness, and that is what I want & know I deserve more than ever!
Their stuff is pretty good I must say! The Merlot gives me hope to still be able to have a nice “glass of wine” with a meal. I didn’t know about the sparking fre-rosé! That also makes me happy for the summer!
I completely agree. I’ve been working hard to make sure I don’t make it an every day thing, but without it, I think I more than likely would have relapsed. Eventually, I plan on cutting back, but I’m trying to be kind to myself.
Same here!
Congrats to you for keeping alcohol free!
No matter the path to stay sober, keep going.
Haven’t tried them before!
