I’m about to start naltrexone, hopefully today. I’m an opiate addict and alcoholic. I’ve also been addicted to Kratom for a couple of years now. I’m just curious if this medication will also work for Kratom. Has anyone had experience with naltrexone, or any info about naltrexone and Kratom?

Hey Evan what’s your Kratom dosage? Iv been at about 20g a day for a year and I’m on day three of a cold Turkey quit. Do you get physical withdrawl or is it pyscological? I would recommend kava for the anxintey and CBD for the muscle aches
I do around six of the liquid Kratom shots a day, so whatever that equals out to. It’s a $60 a day habit, it’s crazy. And yes, I do get withdrawals, physical and mental. I’ve come off it before and always feel kinda rough for about week. CBD definitely helps out. Good job on the 3 days, I hope everything goes good for you.
Okay I don’t take Kratom shots but 60 dollars a day in powder would be like 5oz which is a a lot and normally would last a heavy user around a month. I would try getting Kratom powder or even better try capsules. This will limit your intake just cuz it’s hard to swallow 40 Kratom pills a day
Yeah it’s pretty crazy how accessible it is. But it’s not going real great tbh. Still doing the same as I was. Never did continue with the naltrexone. I took it the first day and got really sick
If you take naltrexone too soon with drugs still in your system it can make you quite sick. Unfortunately there’s still so much unknown territory with Kratom. I work at a detox and we treat it similar to opiate withdrawal for now
I have been on naltrexone but the injection instead of the pill for 14 months now it has saved my life!
