Lol, now don’t go replacing one addiction for another.

Don’t do it ! Lol

Lol hahaha

In movie’s about recovery dating as a new comer looks good and might even be Oscar worthy, in real life though it looks and feels more like Oscar the grouch from Sesame Street.

Get a plant first 🪴 (isn’t that what they say you should do first?)

Yep

Got a gf in early recovery… next thing I knew got a hotel for a week with phones off and jammin needles in my arm. Reevaluate your priorities.

I've been down that path many times and I'm here to tell you it will feed you to the rattlesnakes. The last thing you need right now is a relationship. Get some quality sobriety under your belt. At least one year. Yes you heard that right. Most of us when we first come into the program we probably won't admit it but we really don't have anything to offer the opposite s e x. I know that was the case with me. I could go on and on and tell you about all the crazy things that happened to me because I simply had to find a woman that was going to be the solution to my problem. Got into relationships that I didn't have a clue in the world what I was doing. Got into relationships with women who had alcohol problems themselves. Then created kids that I still don't know very well to this day. I paid tons and tons of child support through the years. Choose Wisely!
