Need motivation to get back to the gym.
I just started going back. It sucks at first but I need to find things to fill up my free time. You can do it!
I get in trouble when I’m alone.
Exactly why I need to stay busy.
Hey you keep me moving and I keep y going. It sucks being alone that when my depression sets in.
That’s the biggest thing for me. Being lonely. I went to a dual diagnosis rehab for 5 weeks starting January 3rd. It was the best thing I ever did. It helped a lot. However once home I’m lonely again. When I was there I had the best support system and never felt alone.
Exactly I don’t have any support system. I need to figure out how to stay busy.

Do gym things while you wait for motivation. In the past year, I’ve been motivated to workout only a handful of days, but I have stuck to working out twice a day in addition to my job; do the stuff that’s good for you regardless of how you feel, and the consistent and repetitive stacking of dopamine will eventually lead to motivation to keep doing the dopamine stacking.
I’m up and going to the gym.
Start a gym routine. Lay out the clothes before bed or first thing in the am. Have everything ready to go at the door too. Head phones etc. it helps me every week! Just a thought. You got this!
