Good morning my sober friends, my I please ask you all to keep me in your prayers today. Having a scary hiatal hernia surgery this morning and for some reason this is scaring me more than my spine surgery did. I need the power of prayer today. UPDATE

Good morning surgery is done in pain but never got sleep. Very loud person in the next bed. Just want to be in my bed tonight. Thank you all for your prayers. I really appreciate this amazing community. :heart::heart::pray::pray:

You got it missy. Glad you getting yourself fixed. I’ve had many body parts fixed since getting sober. The damage we do when using and in our youth always comes back to haunt us. Fear not, you’ve got your higher power looking after you.

It sad because if I didn’t have an awful dr before this, hernia wouldn’t have gotten so bad, thank god I was able to get a great one this time :pray::pray::pray:

Hey Nancy, glad that you are recovering and it seems all went well. Let me know how the recovery process goes. I have had a hiatal hernia for over a decade and really need to have it operated on eventually, just have far more pressing medical issues to tend to at the moment. Will definitely be praying for a speedy recovery as well as for the pain to subside!
