Need to go to an AA meeting

I’m too scared. I need to get help but I’m literally fearful that I won’t be able to quit and it will be another failure in a long list of failures.

I felt the same way. It’s worth a shot. What area are you in?

The hardest part is walking in and sitting down. We miss 100% of the chances we don’t attempt. Will going to a meeting cure you? No. Will it give you tools to help quit… yes. But like any tool, you need to use it for it to work.

AA has changed my life. The people in those rooms are so genuine and those who have done it for years have a sense of calm and happiness that I want so badly. Do it. Go. And if it's not for you then it's not for you:) but it's pretty amazing what can happen when you're surrounded by those who know how you feel and who have been there before

You can also try out zoom!

Go to menu , then online meetings. The beginnings they explain a bit about the program and it may feel a bit strict but it's not!! Give it a try and push through the first 15 minutes. You'll be glad you did

Hi Marc. I’m sorry you’re struggling brother.

You spoke up to let the amazing people in this group aware you need support.

Nora’s suggestion may be an idea you may want to keep an open mind to help you out?
