Never thought I’d be saying this but I’m sober. Looking back it’s crazy how much time I was wasting without even caring. Now I wake up clear headed and actually grateful to be alive. The little things feel good again and I finally feel present in my own life. There’s a real sense of peace and happiness in this that I didn’t expect, and for the first time in a long time I’m excited for what’s ahead.
