New here, I was aimlessly scrolling through apps and came across this one. It would be nice to find some like minded people to talk to. I'm getting sick of people telling me I'm doing recovery wrong.

So you want everyone to tell you what you want to hear then?
Not at all, i just dont want a bunch of people telling me im wrong because i dont have a higher power, or i dont call someone every day
Hi Alexis. How are you doing? I get how ya feel about the usual methods and messages of sobriety. I know one thing to say about it. Keep an open mind. Those here who have long term sobriety have good advice and their methods may be something worth looking into. For instance the higher power is not "God" in every person's life. The higher power is just something you acknowledge has more strength than you that you can look to for support. Having nothing greater than me is a dangerous pedestal to be on.
