I'm grateful to be alive. I'm grateful for second chances. I'm grateful for God's forgiveness. I'm grateful for the opportunity to be a (single) father/role model for my son. I'm grateful for community/fellowship. I was initially turned down, when I applied for a townhouse that is perfect for my son and I, due to my criminal background. I was fortunate enough to have the opportunity for an appeal. I found out yesterday they reversed their decision and we will be able to move in mid July. God is good.
