Hi everyone, I have been struggling with addiction since I was 11. I am now 26, and WANT to change my life for the better. I do not have any support nor ‘friends’ who I can confide in. Joys of being from a small town, nothing to do but bar hop lol. I was hoping someone knew of some AA groups, or a group chat sort of thing I was able to join. Thanks everyone, xx

Hey Ashley! Happy to share some awesome zoom meetings with you, and go to them with you too! I’m 27, and started using/drinking at 11 too. I live in LA so if you’re in the area I can recommend some in person AA and NA meetings! Would love to support you however I can and be a friend! Sending strength and hope❤️

Ashley you can go online and find AA meeting directory for in person meetings near you.
In my experience I found in person meetings very helpful.
Find a sponsor and do the 12 steps, make sober friends and build a new life.
Good for you! I feel this to my core! Small town where the world seems to revolve around a bottle! Here to chat anytime! Also I’ve found Nature is beautiful and I’ve taken to walks and photography it’s become a real amazing healing moment for me! Best of luck!!
