I never wanna do meth again. My ex husband just passed. Not sober. Our kids are grown but they can’t lose both of us to this disease. I’m gonna stay sober! No matter the struggle or sacrifice. I’m gonna live sober.

I’m so sorry to hear about your loss. You can do this. If you haven’t already, find a 12 step group and work it. I started my recovery for my kids and I am still in it, but I continue my recovery for me. The steps work if you work them. It’s possible to white knuckle through but it’s so much easier to do with others that know the struggle. You can do this!

Keep your head up, even when you feel like you can’t. It is rough at times can be very rough! Go to meetings get involved. Remember your kids need you, and they are also watching you. You got this! Good luck. So sorry to hear about your loss.
