You are strong. A lapse or a relapse doesn't make you weak - cut that moral values judgement out cause it doesn't serve you or anyone in our community.

You're going through a tough time so put that into some consideration as you move forward on your journey. Live, learn, and grow. You can do this, Keith. When I get super stuck in my head, I find going on a walk and taking notice of the things around me (the air, the ground, the people, homes, trees, etc. I see) clear your head out to move forward.

Keith, you’re not alone anymore, you have a whole community behind you.

Separation + recovery is tough. You don’t have to be strong, you just dont drink today. Switching the scenery will switch the mood. Go outside and breathe, anything to distract yourself from the cravings. Speak life into yourself and situation. Do you go to meetings?

I feel you there man. Going through the same thing and she is still living here but has a new man. We almost made it 11 years. It’s tough to get out of that headspace. Almost picked up the bottle numerous times over this past month of going through it myself. My best advice, if you have to cry, cry. Charge head on into the feelings and feel them. Just don’t forget that you are strong and strong people feel those feelings. If you ever wanna chat let me know. You got this dude :heart:

Thanks yes went to a meeting today

Thanks all of the support I've been getting really helps
