New on here, quit drinking 6 months ago, coke 8 months, and just quitting bud again ( quit for several months and started back for the last 2 months). Quitting the smoke was actually harder for me than everything else was (mentally). Honestly super nervous and afraid my mental health may suffer once again. Looking for friends/support and things to keep me busy.

Honestly, good for you for tackling one thing at a time. Building new/different habits is hard, so your mind might f*ck with you for a bit. But ultimately your mental health will improve drastically. And if there’s underlying stuff going on that you were self-medicating for, you can get a better understanding of it now and how you can treat it in a more sustainable way if that’s right for you. I was never much of a nature person before, but getting outside in the quiet and beauty helped me to stay present and grounded when I first got sober. And it still does.
