Welcome. I’m an alcoholic too. Thankfully almost 2.5 years sober, but always an alcoholic. I avoided meetings for the first 6 months because I didn’t want to go. I stopped drinking but thing changed in me until I started a program and sharing with others. It’s hard, but worth all of it. Good luck. Good people here who care.
