New to this community and am looking forward to meeting some sober friends! We all need a strong support system and gawd knows I do.

Building a strong, positive support system is key. I’ve slowly been building mine the last year. I have about 2 or 3 guys from my church that have been positive for me lately. I’ve been sober for a little while now, so if you need someone who’s been there and overcome it, let me know. I’d be glad to be a support for you.

Thank you so much. I isolated myself so now I'm rebuilding.

You’re welcome! I did the same thing. I would drink and get high alone in my garage and stopped hanging out with people and didn’t talk much to others. It got lonely. We can’t do life alone. But having positive people is important.

So important. I don't know how to break out. So here I am. Hoping to meet people, I'm ready and willing finally lol
