Welcome! We definitely get it!! You’re in the right place!
Nice 14 days sober. What was your drug of choice, alcohol? I'm happy to help you with any questions on your new sobriety journey. I'm a SUD-CIT counselor and have plenty of my own experience.
Today I am 45 days sober. Feels good. I don't have to fight with myself anymore. So grateful
Hello Paula. Welcome aboard.
Welcome, Paula. I'm new to the site, as well. Congratulations on your decision.
Thank you and a lifestyle change is 100% necessary. Got to do it. Alcohol is my substance of destruction. Jekyll and Hyde
This is a great resource
Sounds like you have a good firm plan set in place. There are some MAT (medication assistance therapy) that help with cutting cravings such as Naltrexone and Vivitrol (which has really helped me) available through your physician.
hey Paula, welcome. Glad you're here. have you been to AA? read any of the literature?
Welcome, Paula. Reaching out this early takes courage. You’re in a good place to connect and take this one step at a time.

Yes and yes. I’ve tried most everything. I was going to try SMART recovery. I like the idea of that. More brain oriented recovery.
I started up my Naltrexone again and it’s working. I fought taking meds but I need to do it.
