I had a nightmare that I was drinking a bottle of vodka and that I found a few more in my house ?!? I was thinking about having a drink last night but I did not .. this is not ok that the alcohol is coming to me in my sleep lol … talk about the power of addiction it permeates your dreams ?!?’

Its happened to me. But its better then when I would be so wasted I'd sleep walk and eat. One time I came to in the kitchen eating coffee grounds with a soup ladle

Yes drinking dreams are a normal part of recovery. I have had them as well. I also have woken up twice not feeling well and my immediate thought was "oh my I'm hungover what did I drink" then I realized it was impossible because I havent drank. Kind of funny.

Yeah, I have dreams like this all the time. It’s better than the usual ones where I’m just subject to abject humiliation by women, so there’s that!
I only say that to illustrate everyone is crazy so don’t think it’s weird you’re having these dreams

Drinking dreams are rare for me. But when I do have them wholly @$!$.
I wake up so grateful to be sober. Those dreams are part of sober life. But they are usually very rare.

Oh gosh In early sobriety I had vivid drinking nightmares!! Actually felt like I had a hangover a couple times. They do go away, I haven’t had one for long time.

I have had some horrific using dreams and when I wake up, I am so ANXIOUS!! But that’s a good sign, that means I don’t want to do it!

The drunk dreams are perfectly normal. I still get them from time to time. Congrats on not picking up. Don’t forget to pickup the phone and hit a meeting when those urges come up.
