I am grateful that I am able to provide my son with a childhood experience very different from my own.
I am grateful for my home.
I am grateful for my pets.
I am grateful for my spirituality.
I am grateful for my husband.

The first sentence resonates most with me! I, too, can do the same for my daughter, and it's amazing. No alcoholic parent, no nicotine, no domestic violence, no fear of making mistakes/treated as if everything is her fault.

I get to raise her as a follower of Christ in a peaceful environment where mistakes are good. Though I am not where I want to be, parental generational curses are being broken.
