Remember this beautiful 2000s icon Fergie? She's not only known for her talent but also for overcoming a serious battle with meth addiction. Before her fame with the Black Eyed Peas, Fergie used meth for just about a year, and it was intense. She’s shared how it led to extreme paranoia and vivid hallucinations. She truly believed the FBI and SWAT teams were tracking her. Look what happened to her she only used for a year and it made her feel crazy. It took a whole year of not using to get her mind back on track. That’s why we need to keep sober awareness alive to keep kids from picking up...... not even once. I had a counselor in rehab tell me, "Cassi, you can't relapse or get high again if you don't pick up the first pipe.....not even once." That advice sticks with me every day. Her story is a powerful reminder that no matter how far you’ve fallen, you can come back stronger.
