Not having a good week apparently. Apart from the tonsillitis I’m getting over my girlfriend broke up with me via text last night. I just moved to this town two months for us and now I’m stuck in a year lease. Not currently wanting to drink but I would not be in crappy Kansas if I wasn’t under the impression that things were going great. I honestly don’t know my next move. Obviously don’t drink but I don’t want to be in this town anymore

Bro, that sucks. Hopefully you are not stuck in the lease with the now ex. That blows chunks.

I'm sorry you're going through all this. Are you able to break your lease per your rental agreement? Can you look for a remote job so you can work wherever?

Thanks Amanda. It was a huge blow. I thought we were in love. I mean it was well discussed and agreed on the decision for me to move to her town. I’m going to look into breaking it, I had much time to think yesterday and I might stay in this town for a bit and try to focus on therapy for a bit and bide my time. My old drinking mind just starts to jump to run mode.
