I struggle with calling myself an artist, because I feel it would be a disrespect to all the greats that pioneered new techniques, movements and style. Instead, I refer to myself as a creator or sorts. Jackson pollock once said “When I say artist I mean the man who is building things-creating molding the earth - whether it be the plains of the west - or the iron ore of Penn. It's all a big game of construction - some with a brush - some with a shovel - some choose a pen.” One can be creative and create art in many different ways.

Hang in there!! That first year was a trial in patience that teaches you so much about your capacity. Year two is where you wake up one day, quit counting the days, and start pulling down goals because you know in your heart that you can do it. How do you know this?? Because you're doing it!! That's no small feat and that's a monumental quest to overcome!! Keep climbing because it only gets better as you go!

Thank you!

It's all a matter of how much energy you're willing to invest into yourself. I can tell you that you're worth it, but you have to believe that you're worth it.
