Thank you for your insight.

It depends why are you drinking the beer is it for the high or is it because you’re escaping or is it just to drink figure that out

Yes !!!!!!!!!!!!! Yes !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

That depends. Are you sober as a hobby or because you have a problem with stopping?
If you just don't want to drink and don't have an issue stopping then perhaps a beer isn't the end of the world. However, if you have the trouble stopping like most of us, then yes 1 beer would be a relapse.

I agree with Steve. Problem for me was never A beer. It was that the one beer would be lonely so it had to have friends.

Has alcohol caused problems in You life on a regular basis? If so than Yes.

Keep it simple.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Seriously? This ain’t kindergarten sobriety class.

If you’re asking for permission try a bartender not a recovery support app. I don’t drink beer. Never had a problem with beer. My sobriety works with a baseline of no booze and no drugs. If I have just a little wine or cocaine or just a bit of oxy is that okay? What if I drink a splash of mouth wash?? Ducking ridiculous

It’s like asking is it okay for me to take just one hit on a crack pipe? Why risk it? If you’re a “normal” drinker, sure a beer is fine, but if you’re here I’m guessing that’s not the case and one will usually lead you down a slippery slope. I’ve finally learned that I’m an alcoholic and can NEVER drink again. Wishing you well.

1 beer is too many and 1000 is not enough…

Yep

That's a good way to describe it.

Is that your DoC? Is your goal to live with 100% sobriety, or to have some other form of recovery? Intentions also matter. Why do you want one? Or did you already? There’s a slip, lapse, or relapse. Recovery is personal, knowing what it means to you is a good place to start.

Play it forward. You have your answer
